CHAIR-SUPPORTED YOGA 

Chair-supported yoga is a wonderful way for people to be able to access yoga practice (awareness of posture, movement, and breath awareness).

This class is for those who need a gentle, yet comprehensive yoga practice to build strength, retain mobility and focus on improving the quality of the breath – all  with the support of a chair where required (either fully seated throughout the class or with optional standing practice with chair support).  None of the practice involves getting up and down from the floor or kneeling.  An opportunity to join others and practice together, in a small,  friendly group (maximum 12 people) in the beautiful hall at Cliffe Hall, Lewes.  I teach another, private group, on Thursday mornings at Clevedown on the western side of Lewes (bus stop outside the hall) and there are sometimes spaces available.  Please contact me for details of this group.

NEW TO YOGA/THIS PRACTICE: Come along and try a class – you will be made very welcome by our friendly group!

NOTE: I also teach a small, private group on THURSDAY MORNINGS at ‘Clevedown’ on the western end of Lewes (bus stop next door).  A very pleasant venue and a small, welcoming group.  Drop-in/pay-as-you go available at this class. Please contact me if interested.
